ProColor Collision Toronto Junction - Automotive Service Bay Floor Renewal

Commercial concrete coating project | Toronto, Ontario
At ProColor Collision Toronto Junction, the service-bay floor had to support a professional collision-repair environment while presenting a clean, finished customer-facing workspace. Epoxy Boss Inc. renewed the 444 sq ft floor with a full-broadcast Slate flake resinous flooring system built around mechanical preparation, moisture management, textured finish, and detailed perimeter treatment.

The existing floor had older high-build coating material and residue that could not simply be covered with another layer. Recoating over incompatible material can leave the next system dependent on the old surface instead of the concrete below it. For an active automotive workspace, that is not a reliable starting point. The system needed a properly prepared substrate, a continuous finished appearance across the bay, and a practical transition where the floor meets the wall.
Epoxy Boss began by mechanically removing the existing high-build coating and stubborn residue using PCD tooling. This step was selected to cut through old material and expose a clean concrete substrate rather than smear residue into the surface. We then diamond-ground the floor to establish a CSP3 concrete profile and prepared surface imperfections before the coating build. The finished floor system included:
This was not designed as a decorative repaint. The project was built around details that matter in a working automotive environment:
The ProColor Collision Toronto Junction service bay now has a renewed full-flake floor with a consistent Slate finish, detailed perimeter treatment, and a system built from the concrete upward. For automotive facilities, collision centres, repair shops, dealerships, and service bays, the right floor begins with the existing concrete, old coating condition, traffic, drainage details, required traction, and the way the space operates every day.
If your automotive shop has peeling coating, worn concrete, failed epoxy, uneven repairs, or an unfinished service-bay floor, send Epoxy Boss photos of the area, your location, approximate square footage, and details about how the bay is used. We will assess the existing condition before recommending preparation and a concrete coating system.
