Epoxy Boss Inc. is an Innisfil-based concrete floor coating and surface protection company. Since October 2019 we have been preparing, repairing and protecting concrete for homes, businesses, institutions and contractors across Southern Ontario.

Our Story

It started with a simple question: why does good concrete get thrown away?

Every slab we walk onto has a history. A garage where a family parks every night. A warehouse floor that carries the business that feeds dozens of households. A shop floor somebody built their life around. When that concrete starts to scale, crack and dust, the usual answer is to break it up and pour it again.

We saw what that answer costs. Jackhammers, trucks, weeks of downtime, and clouds of concrete dust drifting into the streets and homes around the job, in the same busy neighbourhoods where our own families live.

So we built Epoxy Boss around a different answer: prepare the concrete properly, repair what is damaged, and protect it so it lasts.

We are a family-oriented team, and we work like it. We treat a neighbour's garage in Innisfil and a 100,000 sq ft facility for a general contractor with the same care, because behind every floor there are people who have to live and work on it every day.

Our Mission

Longer-lasting concrete means less demolition, less dust and healthier communities.

Cutting, grinding and breaking concrete releases fine dust that contains crystalline silica, a known respiratory hazard. The less often concrete has to be demolished and replaced, the less of that dust ends up in the air around job sites, homes and workplaces. That is the quiet purpose behind every floor we install.

Protect instead of replace

A properly bonded coating shields the slab from salt, water, oil, chemicals and wear, so the concrete underneath keeps its strength for longer.

The Difference

The material box never tells you how the floor will turn out. Preparation does.

We use commercial-grade epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane and sealer systems from manufacturers we are certified with, chosen for Ontario's freeze-thaw winters, road salt and heavy traffic, and safe for the people who use the space once cured. But materials alone are never enough. Whether it is a full coating or a single crack, the surface has to be opened and prepared so the product can truly bond with the concrete. That is where most floors fail, and where we spend our time.

Our knowledge comes from years of learning, practising and testing our own methods in the field, and from swapping techniques with colleagues across the industry. New installers train with us from zero until they have about two years of hands-on practice, working alongside team leaders who can read a slab and know what it needs to last.

Mechanical Surface Preparation

The existing concrete is prepared with professional diamond-grinding equipment to remove weak surface paste, old coatings, contaminants, and surface inconsistencies. This creates the mechanical profile needed for the coating system to bond properly.

Concrete Crack Repair And Detail Work

Cracks, small spalls, chipped areas, and garage-entry damage are addressed before the decorative system is installed. The correct repair method depends on whether the feature is a stable crack, a moving joint, an edge failure, or damaged concrete that needs rebuilding.
