Minesing Garage Floor Coating and Moisture-Mitigation Project

Epoxy Boss Inc. completed a residential garage floor coating project in Minesing, Ontario, covering approximately 718 sq. ft. of garage flooring, with the exterior slab lip also included in the scope. The project combined careful concrete preparation, moisture management and a full-broadcast decorative flake system.
The work started with mechanical preparation. The concrete was diamond-ground to a CSP3 profile, imperfections were prepared for repair, and the existing stress cuts were retained as part of the slab design.
Moisture conditions can affect the coating decision, so the project also included a documented moisture-mitigation scope using MVB FAST as a precautionary layer. It is designed to help manage slab moisture, while underlying site conditions still need to be evaluated.
The specified system combines a prepared concrete surface, a tinted resinous base coat, full decorative flake coverage and a protective polyaspartic topcoat with fine aluminum oxide for improved slip resistance.
The moisture-mitigation layer (MVB FAST) is included as a precaution to help manage slab moisture beneath the decorative system. It supports the installation but does not replace evaluating the underlying site conditions.
