Basement Epoxy Floor Installation Process

Surface preparation: The first step in installing basement epoxy floor coating is to prepare the surface. We involve cleaning the basement floor to remove any dirt, debris, or stains, as well as repairing any cracks or damage in the concrete.

Diamond grinding: Once the surface is clean and dry, we diamond grind to create a rough surface for the epoxy to bond. Diamond grinding is a process that uses special equipment to remove a thin layer of the concrete surface and create a rough, textured surface.

Crack repair: Any cracks or holes in the basement floor we will repair using a high-strength epoxy filler or patching compound. This ensures that the surface is smooth and level before the epoxy coating is applied.

Base coat: The next step is to apply the base coat of epoxy to the surface. This is typically a pigmented coat that provides the color of the final finish.
